The public has an opportunity from 10 January to 5pm on 23 February 2018 to comment on the principle of creating a new business park and public park to the south of Horley.
Reigate & Banstead Borough Council is consulting on the next stage of the borough’s local plan, the draft Development Management Plan (DMP). The DMP includes a proposal to allocate the joint venture’s site for employment development and a public park.
The council’s consultation documents include a Consultation Statement that sets out how the council has responded to public comments made during an earlier round of consultation in 2016.
Representations can be made directly to the council before 5pm on 23 February 2018 via the consultation page of its website at www.reigate-banstead.gov.uk
The joint venture company will be consulting the local community at a future date before submitting a planning application to Reigate & Banstead Borough Council. This is a separate process to the council’s consultations on its planning policies and would concern the design and technical matters detailed in a planning application.
The joint venture does not yet have a timetable for submitting a planning application or for a formal consultation process, although the early feedback we receive continues to guide the technical team as they prepare proposals.
